The aim of the seminar organized by the Lombardy Region in collaboration with the Milan Bar Association was to initiate a comparison between regional governance and the legal instruments available for practitioners in the field of violence against women.

It was an opportunity to analyse the civil and criminal judgments of the Lombardy region and Europe in cases of gender violence, but also to enhance the new normative tools to protect the victim of violent crimes while taking on the experiences of the abuser.
